Big Stone Gap, Va.-Sylvia R. (Sizemore) Mullins, 94, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Wise, Va.
She was a lifelong resident of Big Stone Gap. She was loved and adored by her family. Mrs. Mullins was a member of the Big Stone Gap Rebekah Lodge. She loved reading and writing poetry, throughout her entire life. The family cherishes these poems. She was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Mullins, Sr.; her sons, Ledford and Ronnie Mullins; daughter, Ocie Jean Stidham; and a granddaughter, Amy Mullins.
Surviving are a son, Doyle Mullins, Jr. (Phyllis), Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Daretha Anne Morris (Richard), Big Stone Gap; twelve grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are private and Mrs. Mullins will be entombed in the Glencoe Cemetery Mausoleum with her husband.
