Castlewood, Va.-Robert Anthony McMurray, 43, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Greystone Manor Assisted Living, Castlewood, Va.
He was born in Lapeer, Mich. and lived most of his life in Claiborne County, Tn. and Southwest Virginia. He loved basketball, which he played in high school. He also loved fishing and most importantly his family, with whom he enjoyed writing letters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Patricia (Austreng) McMurray, Sr.
Surviving are his siblings, John McMurray, Jr. (Melinda), Bean Station, Tn., Melissa De Remer (Mark), Tampa, Fla. and Jennifer Gregory, Blissfield, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
