Duffield, Va.-Jimmy Bishop, 63, of the Jasper Community, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2022 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Va.
He was born in Kingsport, Tn and was a lifelong resident of the Jasper Community. He worked for Norris Industries, manufacturing hubcaps. Jimmy had many friends and loved collecting brass items.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marie (Gilliam) Bishop; and siblings, Kenneth Bishop, Jr., Una Stanley and Sonny Bishop.
Surviving are his wife and partner for life, Pamela Jennings; siblings, Loretta James (Rusty), Berda Wallen and Willard Bishop, all of Duffield.
Jimmy’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will have a gathering at a later date.
