Big Stone Gap, Va.-David Leolen Clay, 69, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Big Stone Gap.
David was born and raised in Logan, West Virginia and had lived in Abingdon, Va. and Big Stone Gap for the past several years. He was an electrician with the W. P. Coal Company and a member of the U. M. W. A. He was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Leah Stone and husband, Aaron of Logan, WV; son, Joshua David Clay and companion, Randi Denton of Abingdon, Va.; grandson, Noah Denton; sister, April Workman and husband, Wayne of Holden, WV.
Per his wishes, there will be no services at this time. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
