He is survived by Darinda (Lockhart), his wife of 48 years; his children, Jarrod (Michaux) of Charlottesville, VA, and Laura (Shane) Weeks of Lynchburg, VA; four precious granddaughters, Corrina Louise Hood; Norah Kate, Lillian Alyse, and Cambria Grace Weeks; nephew, Wes Hood, niece Carmen Tate; several special cousins, grand-nieces and nephews; and dear relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Ave., W., Big Stone Gap, VA from 11 AM-1 PM, followed by a service with Jim Belcher officiating. A private graveside service will be held immediately afterwards.
