Big Stone Gap, Va.-Beulah Southard, 76, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Lonesome Pine Hospital.
She was a former bank teller with B B & T Bank in Big Stone Gap. She was a lifelong member of the Brides of Christ Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Southard; grandson, Vincent Falante; father, James Patton Hubbard; mother, Emily (Mullins) Hubbard; and multiple brothers, sisters and extended family.
Surviving are her son Jimmy Southard of Rogersville and wife Amy, grandsons Chris Southard (wife Katie) of Knoxville, Tn. and Greyson Southard, daughter Theresa Armstrong of Kingsport Tn. and husband Doug Armstrong, grandson Tony Falante of Gray, Tn. and his fiancé Bailee Bateman, great granddaughters Adah and Scarlett, grandsons Landon Armstrong of Johnson City, Tn. and Mason Armstrong of Kingsport, son Paul Southard of Nickelsville, Va. and his special friend Tara Horne, granddaughters Brianna Southard and Maddie Southard, Dryden, Va., grandson, Drayden Southard, Nickelsville, Va.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Glenda Flanary and Linda Ashley.
The family will receive friends 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Ave., W., Big Stone Gap, Va. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 8:00pm with Glenda Flanary officiating.
