James Marvin Leonard, 64, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Lonesome Pine Hospital.
Marvin was a truck driver
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Silvia Geraldine Leonard; parents, James Edward and Iva (Sproles) Leonard; brothers, Paul and Charlie Leonard; and sisters, Geraldine Snodgrass and Waneta Deloris Gardner.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Leonard; two daughters, Sabrina Leonard (Sandy) Burton of Big Stone Gap, and Stephanie (James) Shelton of Greeneville, Tn.; grandchildren, Hunter and Daniel Shelton, Brittany Keen, Jasmine Keen, Kayden Keen and Jason Hamilton; Step-grandchildren, Phillip Seay, Jacob Burton, Faith Burton and Samuel Burton; great step-granddaughter, Cora Halcomb; step great-grandson, Ethan Seay; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Gilliam Funeral Home (618 Wood Ave, W.) in Big Stone Gap.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Walter Taylor officiating.
